Alianza has been in the news in recent months and weeks raising awareness about the impact of domestic violence on Latino families and discussing the various resources available to help prevent and end it. The following is a partial list of articles and interviews.

  2. Interview, February 8, 2013, with Ivonne Ortiz on AARP Viva, an exciting hour-long, radio talk show on SiriusXM's Spanish radio channel ¡Inspírate! Channel 145. The program was hosted by two dynamic and nationally recognized journalists, Gabriela Zabalúa-Goddard and José López Zamorano. AARP VIVA provides a fresh take on the issues that inform and entertain Hispanics with stories, tips, and interviews on giving back and living life to the fullest.

  3. Violence Against Women/Violencia encontra de las mujeres, Dialogo de Costa a Costa, HITN TV, an educational network that broadcasts nationally via satellite and cable, March 13, 2013. Ivonne Ortiz participated in this weekly interactive talk show fielding questions from the audience. The one-hour show was hosted by New York's TV and radio personality, Malin Falu, and journalist and political commentator Gerson Borrero.
