Adelante Familia, a bilingual program of St. Vincent de Paul, is a highly respected community-based program providing linguistically specific and culturally competent domestic violence prevention and intervention services to the Spanish-speaking communities of the Baltimore Metropolitan area. Services include warp-around victim support, education and advocacy services, abuser intervention and community education and awareness. For more information:

Responsibilities:
The Program Director will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and operational functions of Adelante Familia and its satellite offices, to include staff supervision, oversight of finances, grant management, development of collaborative partners, physical plant, resource development, and public relations. The Program Director is also responsible for the achievement of program goals and outcomes which are consistent with the mission of Adelante Familia, St. Vincent de Paul and/or as defined by funding sources.

Qualifications: 
The position requires a Masters Degree and seven (7) years of experience in social service program delivery, program development and administration, and hands-on service to clients, as well as (5) years  year’s supervisory experience. Also required is training and experience working with issues of domestic violence; Spanish fluency; Strong organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously, proficient computer skills, high level of self initiative, and excellent written and verbal communication skills, including Strong public speaking abilities

Position Details:
This is a full-time position of minimum 40/hours per week with a competitive salary and full benefits package, which includes paid holidays, annual, sick and personal leave, health insurance with vision & prescription drug plans, dental insurance, life insurance, short & long term disability coverage, pension and 403(b); Candidate must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends, evenings, or holidays, in order to supervise operations, attend meetings or events, or resolve an emergency. Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license with regular access to a car.
